The Queensland Motorised Sports Officials Club was established in 2011, and arose from volunteers and Queensland Raceways creating a group with a dedication to motor sport, to form a new and exciting identity which the members could embrace.
QMSO Officials are generally able to facilitate at most motorised sporting events, providing support with Communications, Flagging, Marshalling, Time Keeping, Vehicle Recovery and Scrutineering.
Volunteer Officials are a very vital part of running a motorised sporting event – QMSO Officials assist in keeping other officials and drivers safe, as well as coordinating with race control for a smooth race event.
QMSO also hold training days including Fire Training, Emergency Response, First Aid, Radio Communications, and General Track Safety with new courses coming in 2017. We also advise members of external courses, such as CAMS courses which may be available to them to expand their knowledge and skills.
You are also able to gain your First Aid Certificate, upgrade to your senior First Aid Certificate or do your annual CPR refresher at our First Aid course.
QMSO Officials are also supported to apply to work at larger events such as the “Shannon’s Nationals” and the “Supercars Australia” rounds across Australia.
To become a Volunteer Official please provide your name and contact details to us via the Contact Link on this website, or contact our President or Secretary directly and we will be in touch with you shortly to facilitate your induction.
Queensland Motorised Sports Officials are a dedicated group of men and women from all walks of life, who enjoy motor sport and team spirit while supporting a not-for-profit community group, and we look forward to welcoming you at the track soon!
